Great British Bake Off: Littlehampton baker impresses Paul Hollywood in episode two
and live on Freeview channel 276
In the episode, broadcast on Tuesday night, Lottie Bedlow lived to see another week of the competition.
The theme of the episode was biscuits, with the remaining bakers having to make florentines in the first challenge and macaroons in the second. For the final challenge, the contestants had to make a showstopping tea set out of a biscuit of their choice.

They are a favourite of her grandparents’, who she has not been able to see in person properly since lockdown began despite living down the road from them. The show featured them speaking to Lottie from their balcony.
It paid off, with judge Paul Hollywood saying he ‘couldn’t find fault with it’ and giving her a sought-after ‘Hollywood handshake’, putting her in the lead.
In the technical challenge, she placed eighth for her macaroons and managed to pass through to week three with her final bake: a Viking-inspired tea set complete with a longboat made out of gingerbread, dyed black with edible charcoal.
