Chance to quiz bosses on future of Southern Rail
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), which runs the south east rail service, has announced plans to introduce a new timetable from 2018.
As part of consultation on the proposals it is hosting ‘Meet the Manager’ sessions at certain stations, with one being held at Horsham Station later today.

Hide AdHorsham MP Jeremy Quin requested the meeting and wanted to ensure the town benefited from the proposed changes.
He said: “The significant current investment in the line should produce a better service. However I am keen that Southern when establishing its 2018 timetable fully recognise the value of all our local stations, especially with the expected increase in population.”
The session will be held near the gate at the front of the station from 5pm until 7.30pm.
Southern Rail has faced months of backlash from commuters following disruption due to staff shortages during a dispute between the RMT union and GTR.
