Brighton Pavilion Gardens rape: Man remains in custody as enquiries continue
A 23-year old man arrested on Saturday (June 15) on suspicion of rape, following an attack on a woman in Brighton’s Pavilion Gardens the previous weekend, remains in police custody.
Police said this morning (Monday, June 17) city magistrates extended his detention for a further 36 hours to allow detectives to make further enquiries.
