Fighting food waste in Sussex to feed people in need
At farms across Sussex, people from all walks of life are coming together to spend a day picking fruit and vegetables to help feed some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
Sussex Gleaning, a network which has been running since 2012, identifies farmers who have surplus produce after a harvest season which would otherwise go to waste.
