Firefighters called to manure blaze at farm

Firefighters rushed to a blaze at a farm yesterday (Monday, April 17).

Two fire engines from Pevensey and Herstmonceux were called to a farm in Wartling around 10.30am after reports of 200 tonnes of manure on fire.

According to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, crews used hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
