Four arrested after ‘drugs’ thrown from car
Police officers spotted the black Seat Ibiza travelling at excessive speeds on the A21, heading towards Hastings, at around 11.20pm on Thursday March 3.
Officers from the Sussex Police Roads Policing Unit followed the vehicle and attempted to stop the driver, who refused to pull over.

Hide AdMeanwhile the three passengers in the vehicle were seen throwing items from the windows of the moving vehicle, which were believed to be packages of drugs.
The car was eventually pulled over just south of Johns Cross, and officers could smell cannabis coming from the vehicle.
The four people inside the car were searched and a wrap of cocaine and £1,000 in cash were found.
A search of the car revealed further suspected drugs and a quantity of cash.

Hide AdThe car, a hire vehicle from Hampshire, was seized by police and detectives will examine the cash and suspected drugs at Hastings Police Station.
Police arrested a 42-year-old woman from Bexhill, a 26-year-old woman from Bexhill, a 19-year-old unemployed man from London and another 19-year-old man of no fixed address.
All four were taken to Hastings Police Station on suspicion of possessing and/or supplying drugs and were interviewed by detectives.
They were later released on police bail, pending forensic examination of the seized items.
All four must return to Hastings Police Station on June 3.
