‘Guild Scare’ aims to boost home appeal
On October 31, Guild Care is inviting local businesses, schools and community groups to dress up in Hallowe’en costumes as part of Guild Scare. It couldn’t be a more simple way to raise money for the Building a Home to Remember appeal.
All your staff or pupils need to do is wear some spooky clothing and make a donation to Guild Scare in return. You can then choose to add as many scary fundraising events as you like, throughout the day.

The list is endless and the choice is yours – staff could pay 50p or a donation to play each game and make it a fun day at work for all. Guild Care community fundraiser Rob Davis, said: “Building a Home to Remember will offer local people with dementia support at every stage of the disease, so that both they and their families and friends receive the help they need at this difficult time. Holding a Guild Scare day at work or your school is a great way to make a difference to the thousands of local people who need us, while having a spooky load of fun.”
