Hove hospice announces third year of superhero-themed fun run
Martlets will hold its third Kapow 5k on September 14 at Preston Park.
The course will feature 10 inflatable obstacles and entrants are encouraged to dress as their favourite superheros as they tackle it.

Hide AdAmbassador of the Hove hospice Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, took part last year and is supporting the 2019 event.
He said: “I took part with my family in Kapow last year and it was a really fun way to fundraise for a fantastic cause.
"Get those superhero costumes ready and sign up – you’ll have an amazing time and be doing your bit to help Martlets as well.”
The event, which will start at 11am, is open to adults and children, and suitable for those over the height of 1.2m.

Hide AdCharlotte Bolton, of the hospice's fundraising team, said there is always a great atmosphere at the event.
She said: “Kapow is an unforgettable fun run with a difference.
"It is one of our most popular fundraising events it’s all about having a really good time dressed up as a superhero and enjoying taking on a bouncy obstacle course."
Martlets hospice cares for people living through a terminal illness in and around Brighton and Hove.

Hide AdEntry to the 5k costs £25 for adults, £15 for under-16s, or £72 for a family ticket - two adults, two children; under-16s must be accompanied by a paying adult on the course.The hospice is offering an early bird discount for those who sign up before May 31.
