Jilly Goolden opens new Dogs Trust charity shop
Jilly, one of the charity’s long-standing supporters, cut the ribbon outside the shop, in Goring Road, Worthing.
She said: “I’m delighted to be involved with the opening of the new shop in Goring Road.

“I’m a big animal lover and a big dog lover. My first dog was from the Dogs Trust and I’ve been involved ever since.
Jilly has two rescue dogs, a Dalmation and a Saluki cross.
The Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and has a network of 18 re-homing centres across the UK and one in Dublin – caring for over 16,000 dogs every year.
All funds raised through the shop will go towards funding Dogs Trust’s work across the country, including its centre in Shoreham.

Hide AdAdam Newman, Dogs Trust charity shop manager, said: “We’re very excited to be setting up shop here in Goring Road and have been really touched by all the support and kind donations we’ve already received. We’ll be stocking everything and anything – from books and clothes to ornaments and household items. You never know what you might find; it’ll be a treasure chest of delights.”
The shop will be open between 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday.
