New orienteering sessions are free
Arun Wellbeing says it recognises both time and various commitments can get in the way of families taking regular exercise together, so it is introducing the events to help young and old lead a more healthier lifestyle together.
Trained professionals will be on site to offer assistance where needed and equipment will be provided.

Hide AdPaul Wotherspoon, cabinet member for community services at Arun District Council, said: “Family orienteering is a great way to bring the whole family together to have fun, get active, and maybe learn something new.
“It is an exciting outdoor adventure sport, that doesn’t matter how young, old or fit you are, as you can walk, or even run, at your own pace.”
The first orienteering sessions will be at Mewsbrook Park in Littlehampton on Saturday, February 20.
Other events are planned for Swanbourne Lake in Arundel on Saturday, March 5, and Hotham Park in Bognor Regis on Saturday, March 19.
