Ninfield Carnival Update!
The familiar stalls, games, shows and scurries were well supported; Robin Fookes - "The Space Centurion" and the 'Tugowar' triumphed; the tea tent and craft marquee, both beautifully decorated and costumed, were constantly full; and the BBQ and bar had long queues.
In the evening revellers danced the night away to the retro sound of "Boogie Nights" and were then treated to another fantastic cabaret performance by brilliant and brave committee members and residents.

At their first meeting after the frantic but funfilled weekend, the Ninfield Carnival Committee were proud to reveal that profits of nearly 6,000 would be added to funds raised this year for their chosen charities, headed by "The Demelza James Children's Hospice". Outgoing chairman, Mark Saunders, said he had enjoyed his two years at the helm and hoped that more Ninfield residents would join the small committee to keep such a vibrant event alive.
Many thanks are due to all helpers, friends and supporters for all their hard work.
