College branch closure is a great loss to students
Speaking as a student of the Littlehampton centre, I have found the staff friendly, helpful and patient, an approach which I found very helpful, entering what was, for me, a new learning environment.
With this in mind I found confidence to explore new skills which I had assumed had passed me by, as I had not thought I could master even the basics of I.T. .

While understanding the limitations of what our elected government can do with our money, it struck me how many students were around my age.
This surely demonstrates the need for centres such as this, and if a way could be found to keep the centre open, perhaps by joint funding from separate bodies, Littlehampton and the other towns which are also to lose their centres, would be better for it.
In this day and age, when people are fighting to keep their jobs or get back into the workplace, centres such as this provide a necessary recourse to help people achieve just that end, and I consider this to be a very important ingredient in helping people not to be left behind.
