Travellers set up camp in Lancing park

A group of travellers have set up camp on a public park in Lancing.

The convoy of at least four vehicles arrived at Lancing Manor Park yesterday morning (July 7).

A spokesman for Adur District Council, which is responsible for the park, said an eviction notice has been served and West Sussex County Council was now handling the situation.

The county council has been approached for more information.
