Play space is made more inviting by Prince's Trust
The group of unemployed young people from City College Brighton and Hove’s Prince’s Trust Team programme spent several a couple of days working at the centre, in Middle Road.
Taking on a variety of painting and gardening tasks, the team set about brightening up the outside space for the children, which included making planters out of reclaimed tyres donated by the motor mechanics department at City College Brighton.

Hide AdJoanne Bush, parent volunteer co-ordinator at Kingston Buci Children and Family Centre, said: “The Prince’s Trust Team worked really hard to create a colourful and inviting play space for the children at the centre.
“They were enthusiastic even in the bad weather and had some excellent ideas to improve the space.”
The Prince’s Trust Team programme is a 12-week personal development course which helps unemployed young people gain the skills and confidence to find a job.
Three in four young people helped by the trust move into work, training or education.
