Plinth unveiled in September

A SCULPTURE of Shoreham Beach artist Alison Lapper MBE will be unveiled as the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, London, next month.

The sculpture, entitled Alison Lapper Pregnant, by Marc Quinn will be unveiled at a public ceremony in the square on Thursday, September 15, at 12.30pm.

It is a sculpture of Alison when she was eight months pregnant and is one of two works selected from a shortlist of six other artists.
