Vegan festival returns to Brighton
VegfestUK will take place at the Brighton Centre on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12, with vegan food, cosmetics, clothing, as well as talks, cookery demos, music and comedy.
With up to 12,000 visitors expected, there are a host of ‘vegan celebrities’ set to attend.

Hide AdVegan strongman Patrik Baboumian will visit the festival on Sunday, joining a panel on easy veganism, tackling the vegan stereotype of ‘weak’ and ‘feeble.
Actor Peter Egan of Downton Abbey fame is another guest of honour at the event, joined by TV presenter Wendy Turner – Webster, from the TV series Pet Rescue.
Vegan sportspeople attending include world record-holding cyclist Kate Strong, Belgian cyclist Christine Vardaros, professional triple world champion English freerunner Tim Shieff and extreme marathon runner Fiona Oakes.
Comedian Carl Donnelly will head up a vegan comedy festival on the Sunday along with Chris Stokes.

Hide AdAnd former World Champion snooker star Peter Ebdon will be in attendance over the weekend talking about how going vegan helped him in every aspect of his life, including competitive snooker.
There will also be a host of Vegan YouTube superstars out in force, including the likes of Vegan Geezer, Hench Herbivore and Earthling Ed.
The festival also features live bands, a vegan film festival, kids areas, Teen Zones, Mature Zones, a number of vegan cookery demos and over 100 talks and presentations from speakers.
Advance tickets are £7 a day and £10 for the weekend.
Kids under 16 can enter the event for free.
Opening hours are 11am-6pm (Saturday) and 10am-5pm (Sunday).
