Hide AdEP took the lead on 33 minutes after an excellent team move. Roy Pook, James Rhodes, Dan White and Josh Biggs were all involved before Phil Churchill volleyed home his third goal of the season.
Richard Thomas ran through to level for Hassocks seconds before half-time although there was a suspicion of offside. It was the first league goal EP had conceded this season.
