The 16-year-old from Stoughton, near Chichester, who attends Churcher’s College in Petersfield, is training with the British Ski Academy in Italy. His goal for this season is to have fewer than 90 FIS points, allowing him to be ranked higher.
McCall will spend as much time on snow as possible this winter with the British Ski Academy. He will also attend England alpine squad weekends around the country. He skis on Dynastar skis and uses Lange boots.
