Accolade for choir
Elizabeth Muir-Lewis took Sussex Song Makers group up to London to appear in the prestigious Brandenberg Choral Festival in St Pauls Church in Covent Garden.
Her group performed a programme of a capella and other part song pieces. They performed “superbly,” with Shirlene Billinness and Julia McBain singing their solos with great beauty. This recently formed group is enjoying success, combining well-rehearsed part songs and also entertaining pieces. Elizabeth’s group has been asked to return to the festival in 2017.
